Staying safe on the coast

Being at the coast by the water, on a summer’s day is great for all after the last number of years without holidays but we need to know the signs of safety.

By understanding some simple water safety on the way to the beach you could stay safe with your family. visit the beach with lifeguards have a look for signs up and down the beach with the signs and flags and where the safest place to swim is in between the red and yellow flags.

if you are at a bench with solid red flags they are dangerous and do not get in the water.

if flags are up with Black & white this will be where zones are marked for surfing, paddle borders and you should not swim.

the final flag orange windsocks show the offshore winds so we say no not use inflatables
